ATE LC30: is a 30-metre coverage diameter right for your home?
October 20, 2026A compact device and an advertised coverage diameter of 15 metres: the ATE LC15 is an option to consider for walls affected by rising damp. These five checks help you prepare your purchase: the cause, coverage, power supply, installation position and comparison with the other models.
Understand what 15 metres covers
The advertised 15 m diameter corresponds to a radius of 7.5 m, not a floor area of 15 square metres. Compare distances from an installation position permitted by the manual with the walls concerned. The ATE LC15 uses mains electricity and does not require chemical injection into the walls. Plan both its position and the electrical connection before ordering.
Start with the cause of the damp
These devices are intended for walls affected by rising damp. They do not treat plumbing leaks, penetrating damp or condensation. Identifying the cause before ordering helps you choose the appropriate response and compare devices on a sound basis.
Allow for gradual drying
Wall drying is progressive and depends on the building, materials, wall coverings, ventilation and installation conditions. The indicative period of 18–24 months is not a guarantee of complete drying. A larger coverage diameter does not, by itself, mean faster results.
Prepare your purchase with the right information
The product pages contain the current price, installation video and manual. Compare the coverage with your layout and read the instructions before choosing a position. If your building has an unusual shape or several connected spaces, our team can help you compare the options.
