Wall dampness is often linked to rising damp: groundwater naturally rises through porous materials such as brick, stone or mortar. This phenomenon affects many buildings, especially those that do not have a suitable waterproof barrier at the base of the walls.

This device is a wall-drying solution designed to support the gradual drying of damp walls, without chemicals and without destructive work. Compact and made in France, it integrates easily into the home.

How does the ATE LC15 work?

Damp walls generate a natural electric potential that promotes water rising. This system emits low-intensity electromagnetic waves that change the polarity of water molecules. Moisture is gradually pushed back down into the ground and then evaporates naturally, without damaging the wall structure.

Installation recommendations

Mount the device between 30 cm and 1 m from the floor
Install on a damp load-bearing wall (never on lining or plasterboard partition)
Keep at least 1.50 m away from major electronic devices
Picture-frame style mounting – wall-mounted and permanently plugged in
Check that the 15 m diameter properly covers the area to be treated

Tips for better results

Remove waterproof coverings (paint, render) 10–20 cm above the damp area
Ensure good ventilation in the home: vents open, internal doors trimmed by 1.5–2 cm
After drying, brush off surface salts then apply a lime-based plaster with an anti-salt additive
In case of lateral water ingress under pressure, plan suitable drainage around the building

Expected results

With correct installation and by following the recommendations, wall drying is generally observed within 18 to 24 months, depending on the structure and moisture level.
